Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information AI Skill Atlas (“we”, “us”, aiskillatlas.com) collects when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message. If you subscribe to our email updates, we collect your email address.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used for security, performance and troubleshooting.
  • Visit statistics. We count visits with Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs on our own website. It records which pages are viewed, the referring website, and general device, browser and country information. It does not use cookies, does not store your full IP address, and the data is not shared with anyone else.
  • Cookies. The site uses a small number of essential cookies, for example to remember your details when you leave a comment or to keep site administrators logged in. Our visit statistics do not use cookies. If we add other analytics or advertising tools in future, they may set their own cookies; we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your messages, to send newsletters you have signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time), to run, secure and improve the site, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the site, such as our web hosting provider (Hostinger), our email newsletter service (Hostinger Reach) and, when used, analytics providers, process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law. Links to third-party sites such as Udemy, Amazon or certification providers are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to raise a grievance or complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, use the Contact page.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

International visitors

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own, wherever we or our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
